Bike Bounties

When a rider parks a bike outside of a hub location, they are typically charged an out-of-hub fee to offset the operations costs of a bike outside of a designated zone. A bike bounty is then posted to the bike on the interactive map, and any user who rides the bike back to a designated station can collect this credit. These bike bounties can be found by looking for the coin icons . The Bike Bounty credit is our way of saying thanks for assisting in rebalancing.

Not all systems use this credit feature so check local terms. The value of credits depends on your program, please consult your local system website for exact values. The credit can be applied to cover any fees associated with our system, like your own out-of-hub fees or riding time.
